Collection: Aloha Oe

"Aloha Oe" was the title of Queen Lili'uokalani's famous song. The Aloha Oe bracelet was a gift from the Queen to Zoe Atkinson, headmistress at an all girls school adjacent to the Iolani Palace, just days before the end of the Monarchy. After wearing the bracelet to school, many of the students wanted similar bracelets for themselves. It was during this time that many of the customs surrounding Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry were born.

These museum quality reproductions are based on the original Aloha Oe bracelet on display at The Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii. Every effort has been made to produce these pieces with hand engraved and enameled detail.
