A true Hawaiian jewelry piece is made for a lifetime in heavy weight gold with glass enamel lettering and intricate hand engraving. While historically the enamel inscriptions were in black (signifying "constancy"), at Philip Rickard we can also help you make a Hawaiian Jewelry piece truly yours with an initial or name in your choice of enamel color. We only use vitreous glass enamel (never the inferior epoxy or ceramic) fired at 1400 degrees. This type of enamel is much stronger and durable than any other types of enameling.
