Collection: Hoomanao Mau
The “Hoomanao Mau” (A Lasting Remembrance) bracelet is the original Hawaiian bracelet made for Lili’uokalani in 1862, emulating the English Victorian designs. Lili’uokalani wore the bracelet her entire life, through her rise from High Chiefess to Hawaii’s last reigning monarch. It is our most highly regarded piece of Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry in the collection.
"This bracelet reflected Lili'uokalani's charge in life as Ali', to uplift and protect her people. She assumed the mantle young, and carried it to the end. This bracelet captures forever the spirit embodied in Hawaiian Jewelry. It's about relationships between people and Hawaii, and the great love for its goodness." - Philip Rickard
